The building is a single-story form under a mono-pitch, or shed, roof, whose single slope gives it a low, modern profile. A pair of wide double doors opens the long wall, with a window along the same face. Opening most of a wall matters in a small building: it pulls in light, pairs with the window for cross-ventilation, and lets the room spill onto a step, patio, or deck. As shown it is finished with horizontal wood lap siding, operable shutters, and a planter box, but the finishes are yours to choose.

Interior layout

Inside is one open, level room you finish to suit. Because nothing is walled off, the same floor can hold a real bed, a table for meals, and a place to sit, or you can zone it differently and keep room to add a compact kitchenette later.
